Insurances We Are Able To Accept
Coastal PT accepts most major insurances including Medicare, BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, Worker’s Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident

Will my Insurance Cover Physical Therapy?
Typically, physical therapy is covered by insurance with, often times, a plan specific amount the patient is responsible for whether it be deductible, copay or coinsurance. Patients with Medicare will need a prescription/referral from a doctor, however with commercial insurances patients can be seen for 30 days without requiring a physician referral. Many insurances now require prior authorization and continual authorization for coverage, the staff at Coastal PT will assist with this process.

Can I Pay Out of Pocket?
Yes, you can self-pay for physical therapy. The current rates are $125 for the evaluation and $85 for follow-up sessions.

Cost for the Athletic Injury Prevention Program
The athletic injury prevention program includes an thorough initial assessment of the athlete followed by home exercise program development for $125. If follow up sessions are desired, the cost will be $50 per session for therapeutic exercises and sport specific training, 0r $85 per session with the exercises/training plus taping and/or manual treatments.

Cost for Kinesiological/McConnell Taping
Although the therapists can teach you or a family member self-taping, many patients request the taping be performed by one of our trained staff. If a patient requests to be taped, outside of their normal treatment time, the cost will be $5 and the patient must call ahead to schedule a time for taping to be performed by the therapist.

Cost for Wellness Program
At Coastal PT, once you have been a patient and have been discharged, you are invited and encouraged to join our wellness program. The Wellness Program is a safe way of continuing your rehab interventions, independently, under the supervision of your therapists. You are welcome to come to continue your designed program 2 x a week for a $40 per month, or 3 x a week for $50 per month
